2008 Taipei CNC Machine Tools & Manufacturing Technology Show

2008 Taiwan International Robot Exhibition

Local & Overseas Promotion Plan

Organizers:

Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA)

Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI)

Show Introduction:

Taipei CNC Machine Tools & Manufacturing Technology Show, known as MT duo

MT duo was previously known as “Taipei International Manufacturing Technology Show” in 2004 & 2006 and “Taipei International Automation & Precision Machinery Show“ in 2002.  In July 2007, TAITRA and TAMI, the organizers of the show, decided to adjust the show’s marketing strategy so as to keep pace with the global show trend as well as to satisfy the needs of machine tool suppliers to expand the market.

Held every 2 years, TIMTOS (Taipei International Machine Tool Show), Asia’s top three machine tool show, has always been the best trade platform for local and overseas key players of the industry.  Due to limited exhibition space, however, the current show venue cannot accommodate the numerous companies that wish to showcase at the show.  In view of this, the theme of CNC Machine Tools is encompassed into the “Taipei International Manufacturing Technology Show” as of 2008, and hence the newly named “Taipei CNC Machine Tools & Manufacturing Technology Show”.  MT duo 2008, which also serves as a warm-up for TIMTOS 2009, will be held from May 1 to 5 in Areas B, C & D of the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) Exhibition Hall, covering a wide array of exhibits, including Design Engineering, CNC Machine Tools & Precision Mold Making, Outsourcing & Subcontracting, Component, Appliance & Material, and Industrial Automation Robot, etc.  The show will not only satisfy local companies’ demand for manufacturing equipment and technologies, but also assist exhibitors in expanding the global market.

Taiwan International Robot Exhibition, known as ROBOT TAIWAN

Taiwans first international trade show for the robotics industry 2008 Taiwan International Robot Exhibition will be held concurrently with MT duo 2008 in the TWTC Exhibition Hall, Area A.  A wide range of exhibits will be displayed, covering Industrial Robots, Service Robots, Robot Parts, Accessories & Peripherals and Special Displays.
