Taiwan Predicts Robot Industry Growth
Taiwan is well-poised to build its own robotics industry as the island has considerable support from seasoned peripheral industries, including information technology, telecommunications, image display, semiconductor, electric machinery, materials, precision machinery and medical equipment.
Taiwan manufacturers of industrial robots are known for developing robotic arms, system integrations, and value-added services; while the research into service-type robotics is chiefly led by learning and research institutions.
